An End User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal agreement between you (the licensee) and Hanken Design Co. (the licensor) that outlines your rights as a user of the fonts and/or software. By installing or using the software, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement. All rights to distribute enclosed fonts with the EULA belong to Hanken Design Co.

The Basic Desktop Font License grants the licensee a limited and non-exclusive right to use the Font Software. It permits installation and use of the font for one (1) user on up to two (2) workstations owned or controlled by the licensee. The licensee can use the font to create static and non-static images for both commercial and non-commercial purposes across a variety of physical and digital mediums, including paper, digital screens, billboards, and textiles. However, this license does not cover the use of the Font for dynamic rendering or embedding on websites or applications.

The Basic Web Font License grants the licensee a limited and non-exclusive right to use the Web Font(s) for both commercial and non-commercial purposes on one (1) website owned by the licensee. The basic web font license covers up to 10,000 monthly page views. If the web font(s) are used on multiple websites, each website will require an additional license. This license does not cover the use of the font on web or mobile applications or installation on computers or desktops to create static and non-static images.

A Personal Desktop Font License grants the user a set of rights listed in the Licensing Agreement. The licensee may install and use the Font on two (2) Workstations that belong to the Licensee. The licensee may use the Font for personal projects, client proposal and trial purposes only. If the font fits the requirement of your commercial or client project, you must purchase the full license.

An Additional License is an extension to the Personal/Basic License that confers additional rights. It includes, but is not limited to, the right to use the font in a commercial manner, modify the font, install it on a server unit, and use the font on websites and mobile applications. Any derivative fonts created under such an Additional License will be completely owned by the Licensor.

A “Workstation” is any computer or device capable of using the Font, including desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. It also includes, but is not limited to, desktop computers, notebooks, netbooks, tablet PCs, communicators, multiprocessor computers, terminal stations, etc..

The licensee may not modify, adapt, change the name, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, alter, or attempt to discover the source code of the Font. Any such use requires an Additional License from the Licensor. Any derivative fonts created under such an Additional License will be completely owned by the Licensor.

No, the licensee may not give, rent, lease, or make available the Font or parts of it to third parties. The licensee may provide the Font to a printer or other service bureau working on their behalf, provided that they destroy the Fonts after the intended use and ensure no further distribution. The licensee is not permitted to transfer the license to any other person or legal entity.

All sales of digital files are non-refundable. In the event of an accidental purchase, you may contact us via email to request a refund, which will be evaluated for eligibility.

The basic web font license covers up to 10,000 monthly page views. Should the Licensee exceed this limit, an upgrade to a higher tier will be required, calculated as follows:
- For up to 25,000 page views: Basic Web License cost × 2.5
- For up to 100,000 page views: Basic Web License cost × 5
- For up to 250,000 page views: Basic Web License cost × 10
- For up to 500,000 page views: Basic Web License cost × 15
- For up to 1,000,000 page views: Basic Web License cost × 20
If the Web Font(s) are used on multiple websites, each website will require an additional license. To purchase a tier beyond the basic license, including licenses for multiple websites or an enterprise license, please contact us via email at hello@hanken.co.

The Licensor (Hanken Design Co.®) owns all intellectual and industrial property rights, title, and interest in and to the Font Software. The Font Software is protected by copyright law and international treaties and should be treated in the same manner as any other copyrighted material.

- Navigate to the folder containing the fonts.
- Select the desired fonts (click, Ctrl-click, or Shift-click).
- Right-click the selected fonts and choose “Install”.

If you are within the EU, you have the right to: Request access to your Personal Data, Request correction of inaccurate data, Object to processing of your Personal Data, Request erasure of your Personal Data, Request the transfer of your Personal Data, and Withdraw your consent. - Open the downloaded file in Finder (expand zip files if needed). This opens Font Book.
- Preview the font and its styles.
- Click “Install Font” at the bottom of the preview window.

While using the Service, Hanken Design Co. may collect personally identifiable information including: Email address, First name and last name, Phone number, Address, Bank account information (for payments), and Usage Data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, etc.). When paying via bank transfer, additional verification information like Date of birth, Passport/ID, Bank card statement may be requested.

The collected Personal Data may be used to: Provide and maintain the Service, Manage your Account, Perform contracts, Contact you regarding updates or informative communications, provide you with news and special offers (unless opted out), and manage your requests.
